- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¾ cup warm water
- 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- Extra flour for coating work surface

Directions:
- In a large bowl, whisk the flour, salt and baking powder.
- Stir in water and olive oil and knead to form a moist dough.
- Cover with a moist towel to let rest for 30 minutes.
- Heat a cast iron skillet and divide the dough into 16 balls.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out each ball to an oval.
- Cook flat breads in skillet over medium heat until brown, about 2minutes.
- Flip flat breads and cook other side, about 2 minutes.
- Char flat breads over open flame about 1 minute immediately before serving.
