• 4 cups water
  • 2 cups Quaker Oats Quick Barley
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
Equipment:
1 medium saucepan

Directions:

  1. Bring water to a boil in saucepan
  2. Add barley and salt
  3. Reduce heat and simmer, covered for 10-12 minutes, until water is absorbed
  4. Fluff barley with a fork and serve
