- 4 cups water
- 2 cups Quaker Oats Quick Barley
- ¼ teaspoon salt

Directions:
- Bring water to a boil in saucepan
- Add barley and salt
- Reduce heat and simmer, covered for 10-12 minutes, until water is absorbed
- Fluff barley with a fork and serve
