• 2 cups water
  • 1 cup dry quinoa
Equipment:
Medium saucepan

Instructions:

  1. Place water and quinoa in saucepan, and bring to a boil
  2. Lower heat and bring to a simmer, cover with a lid, and cook for 15-20 minutes, until liquid is absorbed and quinoa becomes a bit transparent
  3. Let sit for about 5 minutes, then fluff with a fork

Note: If there is excess water on the bottom, but quinoa is soft and cooked, leave the lid off of the pan and cook for a few additional minutes to evaporate excess water. Then return lid and let sit for 5 minutes, then fluff with fork.
