Gina Rios earned her Bachelor of Science/ Visualization Degree from Minneapolis College of Art and Design. A woman of many talents, her passion lies in the creative process of marketing sustainable programs and products committed to social change. She is a part of the emerging green revolution of young professionals, who understand the language and necessity of sustainability. In early 2009, Gina’s interest in organic farming was sparked while taking an Aesthetics of Sustainability class at MCAD. After becoming so invested in understanding the benefits of organic farming Gina started an “Urban Gardening” afterschool program at Jefferson School. Gina has paired up with Brian and found they have the same emerging interest. She shares his vision for developing a unique CSA, and she has the foresight to market this exceptional idea using her own creative talents.
