• 2 oz tomato paste
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ cup chicken or vegetable stock
  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup brown rice

Ingredients:

  1. Put all ingredients except rice into saucepan
  2. Stir in tomato paste while over medium heat.
  3. Bring to a boil, add rice, stir, and simmer for 25 minutes
  4. Rice is done when stock is absorbed and rice is soft (not mushy)
